Good news on Birmingham central office take up

It’s good to read the positive news from Birmingham Office Market Forum (BOMF), whose latest figures show that office take up is on the up.

Its analysis reveals there were 19 deals totalling 242,091 sq ft in Q3 2021 compared to 203,5499 sq ft in Q2.

This quarter-on-quarter growth in central Birmingham office lettings is good news and demonstrates that confidence is returning, especially now that more people are starting to go back to their workplaces.

We’ve seen similar growth here at 54 Hagley Road, welcoming new tenants who are keen to take advantage of the £3 million refurbishment that was completed at the beginning of the year and taking lots of enquiries from potential occupiers.

Since September, BHSF, the profit-for-good health and wellbeing company, has moved its 150 staff from nearby Darnley Road, after agreeing a three-year lease for 3,900 sq ft on the 13th floor.

We’ve also welcomed language services company Mission Translate, which has taken one of our new plug and play’ suites for smaller businesses, which provide fully furnished suites for companies to move in and begin work immediately without substantial upfront costs.

We’re also looking forward to announcing more new tenants soon, too.

If you’ve not seen our ground-floor refurbishment, we have created new amenities including generous break-out spaces, new large reception area, open-plan cafe/business lounge, meetings and conference rooms, fitness studio with locker and shower facilities and extensive bicycle stores.

There is office space from 1,843 sq ft to 50,123 sq ft available at 54 Hagley Road. For more information, contact joint letting agents: George Jennings, 07900 678125, george.jennings@avisonyoung.com, and Richard Williams, 07468 727158, Richard.Williams@colliers.com
