Alliance Health Group celebrates second expansion in 12 months
Leading independent healthcare group Alliance Health Group has expanded for the second time in 12 months, taking on extra space within the building.
The expansion sees the group now occupying the entire tenth and eleventh floors after it agreed a new five-year lease for an extra 2,223 sq ft of space in the east wing.
The company’s expansion comes at the same time as private pension provider Smiths Pensions has further committed to the building by renewing its tenancy for 1,470 sq ft on the 13th floor at £18 per sq ft.
George Jennings, of GVA, joint agent for the building, said: “Alliance Health Group’s expansion is great news for Edgbaston’s office market and it is great to see another company keen to remain here. It speaks volumes for the package the building offers.
“Occupiers are becoming increasingly savvy when it comes to relocating and are attracted to the area because the city centre is a stone’s throw away, it benefits from excellent transport links and is surrounded by high-end restaurants, cafes and bars. The heart of Edgbaston is officially back!
“At £18 per sq ft, 54 Hagley Road represents value for money when compared to rival locations such as Colmore Row and Snow Hill, which are seeing rents in excess of £30 per sq ft.”
